The Great Stink was a time in the summer of 1858 during which the smell of untreated sewage almost overwhelmed people in central London, England. Part of the problem was due to the introduction of more modern flush toilets.

One of two weekly email newsletters that we designed for Nessah Educational Center is this event centric announcement complete with the synagogue’s upcoming events and classes, Sabbath start and end times, Bible portion of the week blurb and services schedule. We wanted the branding that we established with the web site to follow through so that the over 4000 subscribers immediately recognize the connection between the two.

We adapted this email announcement from the existing direct mail print pieces created for a series of Aethon educational seminars conducted across the country. Our attention was focused on matching branding already established, quickly getting the message across, fast download-ability and flexibility in order to adapt distinct details for the separate seminar’s marketing efforts.
