Book Club Website & Blog

Friday, July 2, 2010

We have been through many looks over the years with the Book Club’s website/blog, this new one maintains some of the identity from the past while adjusting to a new WordPress blog with a lot more options and some more robust features. We can now treat it as more of a site than just a blog, all designed by Unnaturally Geisha.

Sports Academy Web Site

Tuesday, April 13, 2010

We designed and just launched the website for Elite Goalkeeping Academy, a soccer goalkeeper training camp for kids. Much like other sites we have recently built, iPhone compatibility was an important concern and we delivered.

It was a pleasure to work on this site for one of our long standing clients, Perfect Planit.

Photography Portfolio Web Site

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Suthi, the owner and lead photographer’s work is beautiful but edgy, journalistic but exquisitely composed. She offers all types of portraiture with an emphasis on weddings and has been a complete joy to work with. I love it when the client has a distinct point of view and knows what they like and want, decisiveness is a wonderful thing!

She already has a general portfolio blog/site (picottephotography.com) but needed a site for her to specifically showcase her weddings portfolio. We designed and built this web site to have certain elements that mimic Flash functionality but still are viewable on an iPhone.

Same House, Different Decoration

New Home Page

Old Home Page

Golden Monkey Healing recently changed their logo. To match, with the help of Unnaturally Geisha, they have updated the look of their marketing materials including their web site which we recently went live with. Currently, they did not want to embark on a full web re-design so we worked within the existing framework to spruce it up. Keeping the house, but re-decorating it.

Smartphone Compatible Web Site Re-Design

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

attractionmedia

And so, they fall like dominoes. Much like the Entropy web site, this was a re-design on a previous web site that we had built years ago. After seeing the Entropy site, Jon Corfino of Attraction Media and Entertainment liked the Non-Flash sliding menus so much, he wanted something similar to showcase his coming and new attractions. In addition, we delivered a fading slideshow that is also NOT created in Flash so that his site can be shown and viewed on smartphones, especially the iPhone. See as of yet, smartphone web browsers cannot display Flash content, you get a big empty hole where your pretty animation or web site is supposed to be. With more and more viewers (including myself) turning to their phones for web browsing, you cut out a large part of your potential clients and patrons. Not smart at all!

Entropy Research Web Re-Design

Thursday, October 15, 2009

entropy

Web sites have a 3-5 year shelf life, identity and marketing changes, business offerings and focus refines. We designed the original web site for Entropy Research and now we have re-designed a new site for them as well. Jamie and Mike are a delight to work with and we were happy to update their web presence for them.

Jamie recently thanked us by emailing:
I wanted to let you know that I have gotten great feedback on the new Entropy website.  It is doing EXACTLY what I wanted it to do. Entropy looks very professional and well established. Prospects who go there to learn more are very impressed. When they see my client list and portfolio, it begins the conversation on a higher-ground. Thanks so much for your help.

We recently launched this e-commerce web site showcasing Michelle Valadon’s lux handcrafted jewelry with serious style. She wanted a web site that both sets the mood for her jewelry while also showcasing its panache.
